Find yourself lost in the woods as we discover what the Scolty Forest has to offer! We will wind our way through the tranquil forest, with a chance to see some wildlife. We will also have the option of an ascend Scolty Hill with its panoramic views over Royal Deeside and the Grampian Mountains.

A forest walk mainly on wide forest tracks. For those wishing there will be a short ascent (and descent) to the top of Scolty Hill but most of the walk will be on fairly flat paths.

Food Requirements: Packed Lunch required.

Car Parking: There are two free car parks next to Banchory Town Hall.  SatNav: AB31 5NA
Public Transport: Banchory is well serviced by the bus service 201/202 from the Aberdeen. Aberdeen is very well serviced from the Inverness/Elgin direction. There is also a train service which runs between Inverness/Elgin/Huntly/Inverurie into Aberdeen.
