We all appreciate an opportunity to recharge our spiritual batteries, learn about new resources and methods, and gain encouragement and support from fellow workers in the vineyard. We also have insights and experiences we can share with others in this important work of passing on the Faith. With these ends in view, the Ogilvie Centre invites all catechists to a retreat and workshop weekend 22-24 September 2017. Simultaneous weekends are being held at St. Francis Church, Aberdeen and at St. Columba’s Church, Culloden that weekend, to make it easier for people across the diocese to access.
For those who cannot make this retreat and workshops, we are offering it again at Greyfriars Convent in Elgin 17-19 November 2017. This is a residential retreat, with women able to stay at the convent itself and men able to stay at Pluscarden Abbey 6 miles from Greyfriars, commuting in for the retreat conferences and workshops during the day.
This weekend is open to catechists and others, including Catholic school teachers, Children’s Liturgy ministers, Youth Ministers, and RCIA leaders who are also invited and encouraged to attend.
