Uplifting Walks invite you join us to open our new walking season on Saturday 22nd September as we explore Keith.

Our day will start with a visit to Tarnash Falls and the pretty Dunnyduff Wood before heading to Meikle Balloch Hill/Forest, where we will have the option to climb the hill.

  • 9 mile option: Tarnash Falls, Dunnyduff Wood and Meikle Balloch
  • 4 mile option: Tarnash Falls and Dunnyduff Wood

The walk will be accompanied by flowing conversation and culture all while being surrounded by beautiful nature.

The walk will be on fairly good, but possibly muddy pathways/forest tracks with some slight incline in the 4 mile option which increases with the 9 mile option (depending on whether or not the group decides to climb Meikle Balloch Hill or not).

Everyone Welcome!

Food Requirements: Packed Lunch required.

Car Parking:  Car parking is free around the meeting point.  SatNav: AB55 5AB
Public Transport: Keith is on the bus service 10 route (Aberdeen-Inverness via Fochabers/Elgin).  There is a train service to Keith from Aberdeen/Inverness but you will need to walk approx 1 miles to meeting point.
