Mark 10 Mission, a Catholic initiative for children, is coming to the Cathedral alongside Youth Alpha and the Kilcoy mission team on the weekend 13-15 of November.
On Saturday 14th of November, all are invited to “Forming a Generation”, a free event for anyone passionate about sharing the Catholic faith with children and young people. Together, we will explore what children and young people need from us at each stage of their journey from 3–18: from a young child encountering Jesus through wonder, beauty, Scripture, prayer and the sacramental life of the Church, to a teenager asking big questions, discovering a faith of their own and making the decision to live as a disciple of Christ. This isn’t about finding better ways to teach the faith. It’s about helping a generation encounter Jesus.
Lunch will be provided! Please do come along and register: https://stmaryscathedral.
This event is very much open to anyone working with young people in the age category 3-18, whether in a school, parish or home context.
