Light of the North – Easter

Welcome to our Easter issue of the Light of the North

Easter is of course the most important occasion in the year of the Church. Hopefully, you’ll find plenty in this issue of the Light of the North to help you celebrate this “life-saving” event, not least Bishop Hugh Gilbert’s letter (p3). Then, Sister Imelda Ann OP gives us an update on the synodal process which is taking place in the Diocese right now (p 4) and the Polish Credo Community give thanks on their 10th anniversary (p14). You can also discover the joy of Lectio Divina (p19), find out what it’s like to be a church musician (p29) and how Flipper the tortoise found a good Samaritan (p34)!

The new online version of the magazine also makes it easy if you want to share it with friends, or if you want to place it on your Facebook page. Perhaps you know someone who would prefer to read a hard copy of the Magazine then why not download and print off a copy for them?

And now, just click on the following link: https://bit.ly/Lightofthenorthspringissue-49-2022
and please do help us to distribute the magazine as widely as possible.”
