Light of the North: Summer Issue

In this bumper summer issue of the Light of the North you’ll find all the news from around the Diocese including the annual Pluscarden Pilgrimage and the ordination of Graeme Morrison as a Permanent Deacon for St Thomas’, Keith. Also, do read Kenneth Sadler’s article about the environment and, on the eve of the 70th anniversary of St Aidan’s, Aviemore, Mary Golden has written a fascinating account of the gallant, wartime nurse, Anastasia Kehoe, who was responsible for getting the church built.

Closer to home, John Horton provides an update on his role as Children’s Choral Director and the Aberdeen Junior Schola and Fr Peter Barry examines his bucket list of rare birds!

You might also be interested in Lidia Konar’s article where she takes a look at how the Feast of the Assumption is celebrated in her native Poland and in Eileen Grant’s reflection on “The God who hears”.
