From a secret seminary and ‘heather priests’ to the daily life of 19th and 20th-century farm workers, discover the hidden histories of the Scalan.
This year’s open days will take place on the 13th June, 8th August and 5th September. You are welcome to drop in between 13:00 and 16:00, where all areas of the site will be accessible, and volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions and share their knowledge and stories about the remarkable history of this special place.
