A Farewell Blessing for Sinéad and Orla

On the Feast of St Joseph, Thursday 19 March, Fr Keith Hererra celebrated Mass at St Joseph’s Primary School in Aberdeen which included a special blessing for staff menbers, Mrs Sinéad Lindsay and Mrs Orla Fowler.

Mrs Lindsay is moving on to a QIO (Quality Improvement Officer) role with Aberdeen City Council after seven years as St Joseph’s Headteacher, while Mrs Fowler is retiring after 26 years at St. Joseph’s. Both will be very much missed by all at the school.

 

 


St Peter’s Moving “Easter Praise” Show

Primary seven pupils at St Peter’s Primary School in Aberdeen delivered a moving Easter production titled “Easter Praise” on Thursday, 26th March. Led by Mrs Carolyn Kelman (P7 Class Teacher) and Mr John Horton (Diocesan Choral Director), the pupils rose confidently to the occasion, demonstrating impressive musical and dramatic talent throughout the performance.

Many pupils took on solo musical parts, performing with assurance and enthusiasm. The singing and acting were delivered with confidence, and every pupil played a valued part in sharing the Easter story. The performance was met with enthusiasm from pupils, staff, and the families who attended. The performance provided a memorable highlight in the school calendar and showcased the dedication and teamwork of the P7 class at St Peter’s School.
