Stella Maris chaplain Rev Doug Duncan was invited to preach on the 5th Sunday readings and also speak on the work of Stella Maris in St John’s Episcopal Church in Aberdeen.

Rev Godwin Chimara and the congregation thoroughly enjoyed the visit and Doug’s talk, also covering the newly signed agreement by the Archbishops of both denominations on working together for the good of humanity, as Doug highlighted Stella Maris served all nationalities and colours and creeds.

Rev Godwin followed up later in the day with the following: “Once again, our thanks go to Rev Doug Duncan for being a blessing to us today and making the service a memorable one, and a lived experience of the Saint Ninian Declaration.”
